Founded in 2010 by our four original visionary partners, JAB 5000 INC. built a foundation of excellence that stood the test of time. In 2022, fueled by advanced academic research and a powerhouse Board of Directors, our program officially took off—putting our mission on the map. Today, we are driven by a world-class Advisory Committee of alumni and industry professionals dedicated to our success.
The Pathway to Restoration!
Empowering the forgotten population
At JAB 5000 (JUST AFTER BARS) INC., we champion the formally incarcerated, especially those navigating the complexities of high-density Westchester County and boroughs like Manhattan the Bronx and Brooklyn, who often get lost between court jurisdictions. We also uplift justice-involved youth (ages 16–24) at critical crossroads, offering them a blueprint for a life outside of a cell. Furthermore, we support "system-crossers" who deal with both criminal courts and mental health/restoration requirements.
A critical resource hub and bridge for our community
Founded in 2022-2023 at Mercy University, JAB 5000 is built on the dedication of alumni, veterans, and student leaders. We've forged strategic partnerships and assembled a leadership team to ensure long-term sustainability. Our multi-layered affiliations create unique professional and support pipelines, transforming potential into progress. We offer a soft landing for veterans transitioning into the private sector and, we drive commitment to justice and reintegration, focusing on reducing recidivism through education, housing, and employment.
